Youtube è uno dei siti più colpiti dalle denunce di violazione dei copyright. Ora a fargli le penne ci si mette Mediaset: non vuole che i contenuti del Grande Fratello siano divulgati in rete previa autorizzazione. Il Tribunale di Milano ha così ordinato alla Rcs di interrompere qualsiasi tipo di diffusione, sui propri canali web, di video e filmati del GF. Gli italiani che vorranno vedere Cristina mentre si fa la doccia dovranno per forza guardarla a pagamento.

La decisione accoglie le richieste di Mediaset che lamentava la lesione dei propri diritti esclusivi sulla trasmissione e respinge invece le tesi di Rcs che si appellava al diritto di cronaca. Il giudizio di urgenza promosso contro Rcs si inquadra nella piu’ ampia strategia del gruppo Mediaset avviata la scorsa estate con l’azione di risarcimento danni contro YouTube e tesa a difendere il diritto di disporre in piena esclusiva di propri contenuti televisivi.

Mediaset, dopo questo importante provvedimento, conferma l’intenzione di proseguire la sua azione a tutela del diritto di autore e per l’affermazione di principi di legalita’ nel mondo dei contenuti web. Ogni utilizzo illegittimo di proprio materiale sulla rete sara’ quindi costantemente perseguito. Sono gia’ in partenza nuove azioni legali contro siti web e provider che pubblicano contenuti televisivi Mediaset senza autorizzazione.

Youtube inizierà a perdere utenza? Già molti si sono lamentati dei video musicali con audio censurato, ora anche le reti televisive rivendicano i propri diritti d’autore?
