WinMoSquare aggiornato, novità per FourSquare su Windows Mobile

Come abbiamo già discusso in questi giorni, FourSquare sembra essere il nuovo “giocattolo” del web che unisce i tre mondi del social networking, della geolocalizzazione e degli smartphone in un nuovo “svago” firmato web 2.0. Il successo di questo prodotto sembra coinvolgere sempre più utenti, ed ecco che tutti i produttori di software per i mobile device stanno cercando di accaparrarsi il primato per la gestione e l’utilizzo di questo software sui loro sistemi operativi. Gli ottimi risultati, infatti, sono già stati dati su piattaforma Android, iPhone, WebOS e su BlackBerry.

Ad oggi, l’ applicazione FourSquare di punta per quanto riguarda Windows Mobile, è sicuramente il client WinMoSquare. Quest’ultimo è stato aggiornato in questi giorni alla versione beta 1.5.0.0, che ha corretto una serie di bug che veramente lo rendevano poco utilizzabile.
La novità offerta poi in questa nuova relaseè sicuramente l’aggiunta del nuovo tabellone dei punteggi delle mappe integrate, oltre che delle icone che fanno da Sindaco e quelle che mostrano l’elenco degli amici e delle richieste di amicizia, visibili finalmente nel client per Microsoft. Gli elenchi sono stati estesi a ben 50 elementi e sono stati aggiunti nuovi elementi per la segnalazione delle distanze dei luoghi e sulla duplicazione degli stessi.
Il software funziona su una piattaforma basata su Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 e Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional (lavora su Touch Screen). E’ scaricabile gratis nella sezione dell’App Store di Windows Marketplace for Mobile negli Stati Uniti d’America.
