Le aziende più famose e perfino i social network di successo hanno un motto o uno slogan che serve a distinguere il loro prodotto dalla concorrenza. Basti pensare allo slogan “Think Different” che accompagna i prodotti Apple, o al motto “You can make money without doing evil” (poi abbreviato in “Don’t Be Evil“) adottato da Google per rispondere alle critiche sulla condotta spregiudicata della compagnia.

Nessuno però conosceva il motto di Twitter, almeno fino a ieri.

A fare lo scoop è stato il sito web GigaOm, che ha pubblicato alcune foto del quartier generale di Twitter a San Francisco. All’interno degli uffici si vedevano chiaramente dei poster motivazionali appesi al muro, dove ricorreva sempre la stessa frase: “Defend and respect the user’s voice“.

L’opinione dell’utente, la sua voce, sembra avere la priorità per lo staff di Twitter. E a pensarci bene, questo slogan non sfigura affatto, messo accanto a quelli di Apple o di Google.
