Twitter: l’ultimo saluto a Patrick Swayze

patrickCi ha fatto piangere di commozione con Ghost, ci ha fatto ridere e ballare con Dirty Dancing, ora lo ricorderemo per le emozioni che è riuscito a trasmetterci. Patrick Swayze si è spento in questi giorni tra il dolore di tutti quelli che lo conoscevano. Purtroppo la malattia che lo tormentava da diversi anni ha prevalso, un cancro al pancreas, uno dei peggiori tumori che può colpire l’uomo e dal quale non c’è via di fuga.

Tra i tanti ad averlo ricordato e ad avergli mandato l’ultimo saluto c’è stata anche Demi Moore, che ha sfruttato Twitter scrivendo:

E nelle parole di Sam a Molly -E’ incredibile, Molly. L’amore è dentro e lo porti con te-. Ti amiamo e ci mancherai moltissimo, Patrick. La tua luce splenderà per sempre nelle nostre vite.

Patrick you are loved by so many and your light will forever shine in all of our lives.

Il Decesso è avvenuto 3 mesi dopo la sospensione delle cure. Dopo l’ultimatum dei dottori, ha difatto deciso di trascorrere gli ultimi momenti con la propria famiglia e con sua moglie. La notizia dell’imminente addio era stata data da un suo parente stretto, che disse così ai giornali:

Non c’è più nulla che i medici possano fare per Patrick. L’unico nostro obbiettivo, adesso, è prenderci cura di lui e trascorrere le ultime settimane di vita in maniera confortevole. Il tumore di Patrick è inoperabile. Per questo abbiamo deciso di interrompere la chemioterapia. Lui perde peso a vista d’occhio e ha un aspetto terribile. Sta assumendo morfina per placare il dolore.

Non possiamo fare altro che rendere omaggio ad un uomo di spettacolo così importante, ringraziandolo per tutto quello che è riuscito a darci. Addio, Patrick.
