Twitter compra RestEngine

Nel corso degli ultimi giorni Twitter ha concluso un’altra importante ed interessante acquisizione, quella di  RestEngine , una startup che fornisce un servizio personalizzato di email marketing, che va quindi a sommarsi a tutte le altre effettuate dall’inizio del nuovo anno e che potrebbe rivelarsi di fondamentale importanza per la piattaforma di microblogging più celebre al mondo fornendo ai suoi utenti un nuovo modo per non lasciarsi sfuggire tutti i vari ed eventuali twet non visiti, una situazione questa che si verifica abbastanza spesso.

A dare la notizia è la stessa startup mediante la pubblicazione di un apposito avvisto presente sul relativo sito web ufficiale che, appunto, recita “Siamo molto lieti di annunciare che il team di  RestEngine entra a far parte della squadra Twitter! Poco più di due anni e mezzo fa abbiamo fondato RestEngine per aiutare gli editor di app ad inviare email sociali mirate basate sui social graph di un abbonato. Siamo entusiasti di poter concentrare ora le nostre competenze sulla scala molto più grande di Twitter”.

Per quanto concerne i dettagli economici dell’operazione che, secondo quanto riferimento da TechCrunch, sarebbe stata conclusa circa due settimane fa, al momento non risulta disponibile alcuna info ma probabilmente sarà possibile ottenere ulteriori notizie nel corso dei prossimi giorni.

Unitamente alle informazioni in questione ciò che è noto è che Joe Waltman, il co-fondatore della startup, con molta probabilità non entrerà a far parte del team di Twitter in quanto desideroso di avviare nuovi progetti indipendenti mentre Josh Aberant, Soren Berg e Mike Lin, gli altri co-fondatori, si trasferiranno invece nella sede del gruppo per poter operare unitamente al team del celebre servizio di microblogging, un dato questo che appare particoalrmente importante se si consdiera il fatto che i tre membri fondatori, a quanto pare, non hanno mai avuto modo di lavorare in una grossa azienda come nel caso di quella in questione.

    want more? I mean Twitter compra RestEngine | IoChatto is kinda vanilla.
    You should glance at Yahoo’s front page and note how they create
    news headlines to get people to open the links.

    You might add a video or a picture or two to grab people excited about everything’ve got to say.
    Just my opinion, it would bring your blog a little livelier.
