uTorrent Twitter

Una pratica molto in voga sul social network Twitter è quella di twittare ai propri contatti i file che stiamo scaricando dai vari circuiti peer to peer. Una moda diffusissima negli Stati Uniti, che piano piano sta prendendo piede anche nella nostra Italia.

Digitare però manualmente però il titolo di un film o di un album musicale è abbastanza scomodo, per risolvere questo problema la nuova versione di uTorrent, il client BitTorrent più scaricato del mondo, integra una applicazione per twittare automaticamente i contenuti scaricati tramite il programma.Il funzionamento dell’applicazione è semplice ed intuitivo. Basta scaricare uTorrent ed installarlo, fatto questo, nel menu a sinistra, in basso, apparirà la voce Twitter. Facciamo login con il nostro account ed il gioco è fatto. Ogni volta che scaricheremo un file con uTorrent, il programma twitterà automaticamente sul nostro account personale.

La versione di uTorrent con il client Twitter integrato è disponibile solo in lingua inglese, e per il momento è ancora in versione beta. Twitter tuttavia è integrato perfettamente ed il suo utilizzo non ha dato alcun problema di sorta.

Ricordatevi però di non strafare. Se il vostro spazio Twitter è molto seguito rischiate di far sapere al mondo intero che state scaricando un file non proprio legale. Occhio, quindi!

Oltre a uTorrent, Twitter sarà integrato nei prossimi mesi in un numero sempre maggiore di programmi. Anche Mozilla si è detta interessata ad inserire un client Twitter nella prossima versione di Firefox. Al momento la funzione è disponibile tramite estensioni di terze parti, mentre un accordo Mozilla-Twitter potrebbe portare vantaggi ad entrambe le aziende.

Anche Microsoft negli ultimi tempi ha dimostrato un costante interesse per il dilagante fenomeno Twitter, che negli Stati Uniti è molto più diffuso che nella vecchia Europa. In Italia Twitter stenta a decollare, mentre Facebook va ancora a gonfie vele.
