TweetMyMac: controlla il tuo mac con Twitter

tweetmymacTweetMyMac è un programma che permette di controllare il proprio computer Apple grazie al proprio profilo Twitter. Il meccanismo è semplice: dal nostro profilo dovremo inviare dei tweet-messaggio ad un account Twitter collegato con il Mac. I comandi che si possono inviare sono davvero molti: si può spegnere il computer,  riavviarlo, catturare screenshot, scaricare dei file torrent, aprire un’applicazione o collegarsi a internet.

Usare TweetMyMac è molto semplice. Ecco come fare.

  • Iscriviamoci a Twitter con un nuovo Account. Chiamiamo questo per esempio AlbertoMac.
  • Adesso aggiungiamo AlbertoMac come follower del nostro account principale.
  • Scarichiamo TweetMyMac dal seguente sito internet ed installiamolo sul nostro computer.
  • Dopo l’installazione, inseriamo le credenziali del nostro nuovo account nell’applicazione installata.
  • Ora colleghiamoci da un altro computer e inviamo dei tweet con il nostro account personale, al nuovo account. In essi scriviamo i comandi desiderati tra:
  1. shutdown    Spegne il Mac. Non salva i dati aperti;
  2. logout           Disconnessione dal Mac. Non salva i dati aperti;
  3. restart          Riavvia il Mac. Non salva i dati aperti;
  4. screenshot Cattura uno screenshot sullo schermo del Mac. L’immagine catturata sarà inviata come immagine su Twitter;
  5. torrent [torrent URL] Il mac scaricherà un file torrent con il programma torrent predefinito;

Un’applicazione utile soprattutto quando dimentichiamo il Mac accesso in casa o al lavoro. In questo modo basterà inviare un Tweet per spegnerlo. Nulla di più semplice.

Ma con la stessa facilità con cui lo si usa, gli hacker potrebbero impadronirsi del nostro computer! Difatti TweetMyMac, da questo punto di vista, non è molto sicuro. Basterebbe rubare le credenziali dell’account dedicato al Mac pe prenderne il completo controllo. Per questo bisogna porre particolare attenzione a non diffondere le voci sull’account segreto e non parlarne in pubblico, sul proprio profilo personale.

  4. When I originally commented I seem to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now every time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment. Perhaps there is a way you can remove me from that service? Cheers!

  6. Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!

  8. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was wondering what all is required to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
