Tweet Viewer, nuovo worm per Twitter

Negli ultimi giorni Twitter sembra essere il bersaglio preferito di scam, worm, e malware. L’ultimo, in ordine di tempo, è Tweet Viewer, nuovo worm che in queste ore si sta diffondendo a macchia d’olio sul microblog. Analogamente ad altri virus che circolano su Facebook, anche Tweet Viewer promette di rivelare chi ha visitato il nostro profilo. Ma come per Facebook, anche qui ci aspetta una bella sorpresa: un virus che ruba i nostri dati.

Tweet Viewer si diffonde tramite un messaggio simile a quello nella foto sopra. Alla promessa di svelare chi ha visitato il nostro profilo segue il link ad un’applicazione virus che infetterà il computer e allo stesso tempo diffonderà il messaggio a tutti i nostri contatti.

Attenzione però: cliccare solo su quel link non permetterà al worm di accedere automaticamente ai nostri dati: come per tutte le applicazioni Twitter, sarà necessario autorizzare l’accesso al nostro account cliccando su “acconsenti”. Se malauguratamente lo avete fatto, andate subito su Impostazioni/Connessioni e cliccate Revoca Accesso in corrispondenza di Tweet Viewer. Per maggior sicurezza, noi di IoChatto vi consigliamo anche di cambiare password.
