Tweet Longer: espandere tweet su iPhone

Oggi analizziamo una applicazione per gli amanti del social network dell’uccellino Twitter, che posseggono un mobile device della Apple. L’applicazione è indipendentemente prodotta da uno sviluppatore che l’ha messa sul canale Cydia, quindi non si tratta di un’azienda.
Stiamo parlando di StoneStam92, che ha pubblicato Tweet Longer, una app per Twitter compatibile con iPhone ed iPod Touch. Questa applicazione, va a sopperire alla mancanza che molti utenti stanno ritrovando negli ultimi periodi dell’utilizzo in mobilità di Twitter per la rimozione forzata di alcune funzionalità del social network, dai client non definiti ufficiali. Stiamo parlando infatti, di una norma che non permette all’interno di client non controllati da Twitter, di aprire e visualizzare in maniera intera i Tweet che superano i 140 caratteri.
L’applicazione che invece ha realizzato lo sviluppatore suddetto, che si chiama Tweet Longer, ci permetterà di entrare su Twitter, direttamente passando per il browser interno dell’applicazione e quindi poter andare a disattivare l’attivazione della censura fatta dagli sviluppatori di Twitter per non visualizzare i Tweet per l’intera lunghezza.
Con questo utile tweak, potremo anche andare quindi a velocizzare l’apertura dei tweet lunghi, evitando ogni volta di andare a dover caricare una intera pagina web con tutti i suoi dettagli (immagini e quanto altro).

 

La velocizzazione nel mondo del mobile, soprattutto sul social network diventa prioritaria in un periodo in cui non abbiamo più un utilizzo leggero del social network, ma soprattutto in questa fase in cui i mobile social network (Facebook e Twitter in primis), stanno andando radicalmente a sostituire l’utilizzo dei vecchi e cari SMS. L’evoluzione costante, quindi, permette anche migliorie molto spesso dovute a canali non ufficiali come quello proposto da Cydia. L’applicazione Tweet Longer, è scaricabile gratuitamente dalla suddetta community, ed è installabile su qualsiasi iPhone o iPod sbloccato con una funzione di JailBreak. Per completezza informativa ricordiamo che il JailBreak, non è una opzione di Apple, ma una procedura esterna.
