Tutorial: scaricare album di Facebook

Come ben sappiamo, gli album di Facebook sono protetti da una crittografia riconosciuta da Microsoft Internet Explorer che non permette il salvataggio delle fotografie personali degli utenti. Fatto sta che in molti, tra gli utenti più smanettoni, utilizzano come browser alternativo (e spesso più performante) ad Internet Explorer, il client di casa Mozilla: Firefox. Questo browser, permette nelle opzioni di codifica pagina, di visualizzare i file contenuti in una singola pagina e permette un eventuale download con la semplice selezione del file ed il click in basso a destra sulla scritta “Salva con nome…”. Una volta scelta la cartella di destinazione occorrerà fare click su OK ed il gioco è fatto. Ma qualora stiamo parlando dell’album del nostro migliore amico e magari delle foto della vacanza fatta insieme che lui non ci ha mai dato ma invece ha pubblicato su Facebook? Ebbene esiste un modo molto semplice per non fare un download rapido di tutte le foto dell’album. Consideriamo le potenzialità di questa opzione dato che la stima di contatti di pubblicazione foto per Facebook raggiungono mensilmente gli 850 milioni di foto.
In primis, necessitiamo dell’utilizzo di un browser come Mozilla Firefox da sostituire con Microsoft Internet Explorer. Poi cliccare sul menu “Strumenti” e su “Componenti Aggiuntivi” e click su Plug-In. Cercare nell’apposita casella di testo il Plug-in dedicato con nome “Facebook Photo Album Downloader“ ed installarlo nel proprio browser. Ad installazione terminata, occorrerà riavviare il browser per permettere al nuovo componente di interagire completamente con il nostro software. Il software permetterà l’accesso ad una nuova applicazione denominata FacePad avviabile rapidamente in Firefox cliccando sul tasto destro del mouse. Quindi adesso ci toccherà accedere a Facebook con Mozilla Firefox, trovare il profilo del nostro amico e quando siamo nella pagina degli album, cliccare sul tasto destro sul nome e selezionare la voce “Download Album with FacePad”. Questo ci permetterà di decidere il percorso di salvataggio con la successiva apertura dei file.
