Tutorial: Creare applicazioni personalizzate per Facebook (Lesson 1)

L’aggiunta di applicazioni e personalizzazioni in Facebook, sicuramente è una chiave vincente nel renderlo uno dei social network più fruibili al mondo.
E’ possibile “creare” qualche apps aggiuntive amatoriali (intese come semplici pagine php) grazie all’uso delle ormai diffuse API per il PHP ed ASP.net e del linguaggio di programmazione base creato per Facebook FBML (Facebook Markup Language Fundamentals).
Alla base dell’utilizzo di applicazioni, c’è spesso l’interazione con gli altri utenti e questa interazione, viene espletata con una notifica di avvertimento del sistema indicando mittente e destinatario (questo avviene nel caso in cui ci sia un’interazione diretta tra gli utenti, del tipo tag di una foto o commento).
In altri casi, succede che la notifica sia inviata dall’applicazione tipo gli ormai noti “Guerra di Bande” ed “Il Rapitore Seriale”, questa tipologia di sistema viene utilizzata anche affinchè la diffusione delle applicazioni sia più rapida. Data la possibilità di utilizzare strumenti di developer per creare applicazioni Facebook, l’aumento degli sviluppatori è stato notevole.
Una procedura molto semplice per la creazione delle apps è la seguente:

  • Collegarsi al sito http://developers.facebook.com
  • Cliccare su “Get Started”
  • Cliccare si conseguenza su “Add Facebook Developer Application”
  • Andando nel nostro profilo e cliccando su “more” apparirà l’applicazione Developer, su cui possiamo cliccarci sopra
  • Cliccando poi in alto a destra su “Set Up New Application” partiremo con la creazione della nostra nuova applicazione.

La conoscenza di un minimo di linguaggio di programmazione è necessaria per proseguire nella creazione di un’applicazione “fatta bene” per Facebook. Anche se le gudeness real aiutano molto spesso nella creazione, per far si che non ci siano intoppi prima di passare alla distribuzione, sarà necessario controllare che siano fatti bene alcuni passaggi. Nelle prossime lezioni vedremo come configurare e diffondere la propria applicazione su Faceboook. Ricordiamo comunque che lo staff di Facebook cerca di fare il possibile per certificare tutte le applicazioni funzionanti per evitare che virus e spam si diffondano sul social network.
