Telnic lancia i domini “.tel” all’insegna della velocità

Da ieri 24 Marzo 2009 è partita la nuova rivoluzione del Web con la divulgazione del dominio “.tel“. Già multinazionali come Nestlè, Gucci, Ferrari, hanno attivato da ieri le pagine con dominio .tel facenti capo alla società britannica Telnic che estenderà la possibilità di acquisire i suoi domini nella prima grande directory telefonica globale.
Dopo la prima fase di lancio, dedicata esclusivamente alle aziende ed ai possessori di marchi registrati, dalle ore 16.00 di ieri pomeriggio i domini .tel sono disponibili anche per le singole persone che vogliano registrare, realizzare e pubblicare la propria pagina Web personale. Le informazioni rapidamente disponibili su Internet in maniera facile e sicura, saranno basate sulla nuova tecnologia utilizzata dal gruppo Telnic, che si è proposta di operare direttamente con i contatti al livello dei server DNS rendendo così la consultazione delle pagine con dominio .tel rapida e soprattutto fruibile maggiormente con dispositivi mobile.
L’amministratore delegato di Telnic Khashayar Mahdavi, ha dichiarato che: “Il lancio di .tel rappresenta l’innovazione più significativa su Internet dopo il .com; con un prezzo di poche decine di euro all’anno, il dominio rappresenta un valore aggiunto per compagnie di ogni dimensione, soprattutto grazie alla grande visibilità che un .tel offre, ottimizzando l’indicizzazione nei motori di ricerca“.
Della diffusione dei domini, saranno interessate principalmente le seguenti società: Register.it, Tuonome.it, Ownidentity.com, che lanceranno il servizio con un prezzo variabile tra loro ma tutte entro un range di circa 30 euro annuali per dominio. Anche MySpace diverrà una parte attiva nella rivendita dei domini e la società Telnic non ha rifiutato l’idea di future partnership con le maggiori compagnie telefoniche (come d’altronde quella già realizzata con British Telecom in Inghilterra che da maggio venderà domini).

Molte sono già le Aziende italiane che hanno sviluppato progetti su questo tipo di dominio, sviluppando la velocità offerta e la possibilità di accaparrarsi domini già utilizzati da molto tempo, come quelli con estensioni e nomi comuni. Ufficiosamente si parla di un accordo con i siti istituzionali da parte di Telnic che partirà dalla Gran Bretagna.
