Talent Show per MySpace?

Dopo pochi giorni dalla (s)vendita del social network MySpace, molte novità toccano già le pagine del web, che si riempiono di dichiarazioni di rumors e principalmente di ipotesi sul futuro di questo social network dal passato vivo e florido, ma da un recente pessimo trascorso.
Oggi parliamo di una novità che interessa tanto il nuovo neo comproprietario del social network, Justin Timberlake. Probabilmente, sentitosi gasare dalla partecipazione al film “The social network”, ha trovato interessante intraprendere anche nella sua vita reale, la carriera di manager legato al mondo del web (chissà se aspirando a monetizzare almeno quanto Mark Zuckerberg).
Fatto sta, che insieme a Specific Media, il broker di pubblicità on line di MySpace, ha pensato di rilanciare il social network con una novità diversa dagli altri e legando nuovamente MySpace agli artisti. Stiamo parlando di un talent show.
Secondo quanto ha dichiarato al pubblico Johnny Wright, manager dell’artista, l’obiettivo principale è proprio quello di sviluppare una partnership con alcune major, per riportare il sito all’apice dell’industria musicale, cambiandone quindi la destinazione d’uso, e facendo si che Internet, trovi nuovamente MySpace come punto di riferimento per la scoperta di nuovi artisti.
Voci di corridoio o meno, sembra che all’interno del team si sia già cominciato a discutere di questo progetto, al punto che lo stesso manager, ha deciso di allestire all’interno della propria Corp, i provini per avviare un talent show (oppure iniziative analoghe, visto che la scelta non è stata ancora condivisa con il consiglio di amministrazione), per riprendere la linea chiave di MSpace: lo scouting e principalmente, la promozione degli artisti emergenti.
Il verdetto definitivo su questa argomentazione, arriverà comunque il 17 Agosto, la data in cui è stata indetta la prima conferenza stampa di presentazione ufficiale del network, dove si esporrà tra l’altro la nuova strategia di rilancio del social network che si sta cercando di salvare.
