Spore il videogioco della EA Games adesso si potrà giocare anche su Facebook. Spore è un gioco di simulazione inventato da Will Wright, il creatore dei Sims, e proprio come i Sims anche Spore crea una certa dipendenza da videogiocatore, soprattutto adesso che è integrato con la piattaforma Facebook.

La versione social di Spore si chiama Spore Island. Come nel gioco per PC, anche in Spore Island siamo gli artefici dell’evoluzione di una civiltà aliena, dalle prime molecole fino alla conquista della galassia, ma in più ci sono tante caratteristiche dei social games più comuni, come i regali virtuali e gli oggetti da collezionare.

I giocatori iniziano selezionando il tipo di ambiente (la loro isola) dove far crescere la creatura. Si comincia con lo scegliere gli attributi fisici che caratterizzeranno il nostro alieno, come la bocca, gli occhi, il corpo, le gambe, ecc. Purtroppo il livello di personalizzazione delle creature non è sofisticato come quello che si trova nella versione del gioco per PC, tuttavia è abbastanza coinvolgente. Staremo a vedere quali saranno le novità della Electronic Arts in proposito.
