E’ nata in casa Sony la prima fotocamera dedicata agli amanti del mondo del social network. Ad oggi la Sony Cybershot G3 è la prima fotocamera digitale definita “scatta e pubblica”. Il gioielli tecnologico, ha infatti integrata una scheda di connessione WiFi che permette l’accesso ad internet ed un software dedicato per l’accesso automatico a siti quali Picasa, YouTube, DailyMotion, Photobucket, ShutterFly. Sony ha annunciato che nelle prossime revisioni software sarà possibile utilizzare anche Facebook, Badoo e LinkedIn.
Ma analizziamola da vicino guardando i dettagli tecnici. La Sony CyberShot G3 un CCD da 10 Megapixel con sensibilità massima 3200 ISO, obiettivo Carl Zeiss 4x 35-140 mm, interno al corpo macchina (folded optic), sembra una fotocamera di fascia medio-alta come tante altre, ma la sorpresa si trova nel retro. Esteticamente non sembra diversa dalle altre: ultra sottile, metallica, zoom ottico, etc… Ma la differenza comincia a notarsi quando l’interfacciabilità comincia a passare per un LCD touchsceen da 3,5” ad alta definizione (quasi 1 milione di punti).

Il WiFi, di Sony inoltre (a differenza del WiFi della Nikon che permette semplicemente di passare le foto sul PC senza fili), permetta la connessione al wireless di casa oppure agli access point pubblici per collegarsi direttamente tramite browser integrato ai siti di social network. Oltre alle funzioni di pubblicazione, risultano interessanti le altre caratteristiche quali 4 Gb di memoria interna con possibilità di usare le password per gli album, il Face Detection, Smile Shutter, Digital Range Optimizer (bilanciamento automatico tra luci e ombre).
