Solitudine a causa dei social network

Secondo quanto dichiarato da Sherry Turkle, una famosa studiosa americana del mondo dei giovani, viene fuori che una delle nuove mode dei giovani d’oggi è quella dell’ossessiva comunicazione via Internet soprattutto attraverso i social network.

I più gettonati sono Facebook e Twitter e proprio su questi due, la Turkle ha svolto i suoi esperimenti e le sue analisi su una serie di giovani che si sono messi a disposizione come campioni per utilizzare questi nuovi mezzi di comunicazione.

La sociologa, che lavora al MIT ha spiegato proprio nel suo ultimo testo “Alone Together“, come: “Questo comportamento, che è ormai diventato così diffuso da poter essere considerato tipico di questa generazione di ragazzi, esprime problemi che una volta avremmo trattato come patologici”.

Purtroppo questi comportamenti stanno diventando sempre più normali per la società, ma allo stesso tempo, il social network, creando dipendenza e spesso solitudine, fa si anche che il giovane comincia ad assorbire una nuova visione della realtà più obiettiva. L’idea però che servano a far gestire con più facilità i rapporti sociali e soprattutto con velocità, mostra l’altro aspetto nel momento in cui generano isolamento dal mondo reale.
Il consiglio? Usare tutto con moderazione.

  45. Even the gods, if they exist, must laugh from time to time. Perhaps what we call tragedy is merely comedy from a higher perspective, a joke we are too caught up in to understand. Maybe the wisest among us are not the ones who take life the most seriously, but those who can laugh at its absurdity and find joy even in the darkest moments.
