Una ricerca costante quella degli operatori della telefonia mobile per cercare di entrare dalla porta principale nel mondo dei social network, ma soprattutto per spartirsi una fetta della grande torta da 200 milioni di utenti che è Facebook. Analizziamo in dettaglio cosa sta succedendo:
Vodafone Italia, grazie all’accordo avuto con il social network, ha dato l’opportunità a tutti i clienti iscritti di attivare Mobile Internet Facebook Edition. Si tratta di un’offerta che con 2 euro a settimana consente di accedere ad Internet dal cellulare senza limiti di tempo e traffico. L’offerta vale 7 giorni dall’attivazione e si rinnova automaticamente ogni settimana. La disattivazione è possibile chiamando il numero 42070.
Tre Italia, invece, per fare la concorrenza a Vodafone ha deciso di lanciare proprio un cellulare. Si tratta del noto INQ1 già pluripremiato al World Mobile Congress di Barcellona che permette l’accesso a Facebook con un solo click. Vincenzo Novari, AD di Tre Italia ha dichiarato che: “NQ1 e’ il primo cellulare pensato e realizzato per il social networking di massa e costituisce un formidabile aggregatore di servizi di comunicazione, dall’e-mail all’upload di foto sino all’instant messaging. INQ1 ha le stesse caratteristiche che hanno reso Facebook un fenomeno travolgente: e’ semplice da usare e rende efficace l’organizzazione della propria vita di relazione, mettendo a frutto uno schermo, quello del cellulare, che e’ il piu’ personale e privato.”
A queste però non manca l’aggiunta di BlackBerry che ha lanciato la sua nuova Facebook for BlackBerry 1.5, piattaforma dedicata che andremo ad esaminare meglio alla relase ufficiale.
Ma le novità non finiscono qui. Parliamo infatti anche di Wikipedia, l’enciclopedia più grande del mondo gestita dagli utenti, che sta facendo il suo arrivo sui cellulari del mondo grazie ad una partnership tra la stessa fondazione Wikipedia ed Orange (per l’operatore mobile francese) per la diffusione di internet sul mobile. Secondo il gestore d’oltremanica il servizio sarà fruibile attivando una tariffa a connessione fissa per cellulare dal costo di un euro al giorno senza alcun limite di accesso.
