Google alla ribalta con Social gMail

Dopo avervi parlato di Firefox e del suo rapporto con il social networking grazie alle sue estensioni proprio ieri, vi parliamo di un competitor dello stesso: Google Chrome. Ma oggi non analizziamo solo il browser in se come mezzo per sfruttare le potenzialità dei social network, ma vi parliamo del lavoro che la stessa Google sta facendo unendo gli sforzi fatti con il browser Chrome insieme al suo servizio di posta elettronica gMail, per incrementare l’utenza grazie al social network. Proprio per questo motivo, parliamo oggi di Social gMail. Si tratta di una estensione per il browser Google Chrome che ci permetterà di rendere più gradevole esteticamente e performante dal punto di vista tecnico evolutivo, il servizio di posta elettronica offerto dalla stessa casa di Mountain View.
Ovviamente il servizio di posta elettronica di gMail, rappresenta ad oggi uno dei punti di riferimento di Google, perchè risulta essere tra le alternative più valide e veloci rispetto agli altri fornitori di servizi analoghi. Ovviamente, le carenze sono tante ed una tra tutte e quella della poca interattività con il resto dei servizi del web.


Proprio con Social gMail, però possiamo sopperire a questo problema, perchè una volta installata, accanto all’icona del messaggio di posta elettronica si potranno visualizzare immagine del profilo utente e dati extra sullo stesso. Quindi, una gMail con vista molto social. Grazie a questa utility, sarà molto più facile anche individuare i mittenti di un messaggio. Oltre a questo troviamo una serie di possibilità aggiunte in pieno stile social network come la condivisione semplificata delle informazioni.

Resta però a dispetto di quanto si possa credere, una interfaccia semplice e soprattutto un po’ “povera” di informazioni grafiche, garantendoci però in questo modo, la velocità a cui ci abituato il servizio di posta di Google. L’estensione Social gMail è scaricabile per il browser Google Chrome e da poco tempo, anche per Mozilla Firefox. Il tutto gratuitamente.
