Il pericolo di pubblicare i propri dati personali sui social network, è sempre più incombente, soprattutto da quando è nata la mania di effettuare controlli da parte di Enti Pubblici di riscossione ed ultimamente dalle Compagnie Assicurative. Infatti, a partire dai lavoratori che hanno pubblicato le loro informazioni e si sono ritrovati senza lavoro, si è passati subito ad una serie di imprenditori “evasori” fiscali che hanno reso note le proprie pubbliche spese ed ultimamente, a cadere nella trappola della grande rete, sono gli assicurati.

Questa “moda” sembra arrivare dall’Inghilterra, nello specifico a Londra, dove le compagnie assicurative stanno valutando i dati dei propri assicurati ed a seguito di ciò, stanno scoprendo giorno dopo giorno, una serie di “furti” fatti ai danni delle compagnie per falsi handicap o per messe in scena di oggetti rubati che compaiono ancora nelle foto. A partire da questo, è nata una vera e propria battaglia in questo senso, al punto che le compagnie hanno pensato di rivolgersi a società di ricerca on line per far scoprire queste truffe. Una delle più note, la Legal & General, sta addirittura “minacciando” di aumentare i costi delle polizze per gli iscritti ai social network, a seguito di una ricerca fatta fare dalla società di ricerca europea Opinion Matter.

Lo studio dimostra che proprio gli uomini e soprattutto, proprio quelli che tentano di frodare di più le compagnie, sono quelli pronti a smistare i propri dati con una semplicità impressionante, addirittura, si parla del fornire il proprio recapito di cellulare e l’indirizzo di casa.

Secondo uno studio di Proofpoint è emerso che ben l’8% delle aziende negli Stati Uniti ha effettuato licenziamenti dopo le “scoperte” fatte sui propri dipendenti grazie ai social network. Un nuovo metodo di sporcare il proprio curriculum, quindi, sembra proprio quello di essere iscritti ad un social network e mettere in piazza la propria vita privata.

  9. Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
