Self-marketing: “Anch’io mi pubblicizzo on-line”

Il social networking è sempre più a stretto contatto con il self marketing e le piattaforme Web 2.0 in rapida espansione continuano sempre più a dar voce ai singoli individui dal punto di vista dell’ “IO ci sono!“. Dopo aver parlato nelle settimane scorse dell’aumento di visibilità dal punto di vista professionale, che è possibile attuare grazie all’utilizzo dei social network, notiamo quotidianamente un aumento della voglia di fare personal branding. Come lo intende Zanolli in un’opera recente: “l’insieme di valori, competenze, visioni, passioni, caratteristiche e ricordi in genere che immediatamente chi ci sta attorno collega alla nostra comparsa fisica o anche solo virtuale”.
Il brand, la marca di se stessi, il proprio essere e mostrarsi come come prodotto per accrescere la propria visibilità è una strategia nuova che ben si adatta alle caratteristiche dei social network. Le reti di relazioni, il protagonismo e l’autocreazione di note e pagine (già creare un profilo è come stilare una biografia), rendono la propria persona visibile e giudicabile.
L’importanza, il valore, che è possibile dare a se stessi essendo un bravo manager autoreferenziato, danno ai social network un nuovo senso di vita professionale, una marcia in più per presentarsi al mondo del lavoro.

  13. Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
