Sardinia People: ecco il social network dei sardi

Sardinia People

Ad ognuno il suo social network. Non è una forma di “ghettizzazione” decisa dalle leggi del mercato, bensì una nuova forma di comunicazione che vuole dedicarsi e riservarsi ad amanti di una stessa passione, hobby oppure a persone di uno stesso luogo. Questo è ciò che deve aver pensato Marco Camboni, studente cagliaritano, il 15 Novembre del 2008, quando ha messo su il social network Saridinia People.

Forse in questo mondo virtuale sarà possibile avere più alternativa di incontrare conoscenti del proprio stesso luogo ed organizzarsi con più semplicità per l’andare a prendere una birra insieme. Il social network sardo è disponibile all’indirizzo http://www.sardiniapeople.net, ma non è una novità assoluta in campo di geo social network. Infatti, solo in Italia esistono molti altri social network regionali. Il primo per visite e persone è quello Siciliano, mentre Sardinia People si va a mettere direttamente al secondo posto grazie a circa 30 iscrizioni quotidiane.

Ovviamente “la birra insieme” ha una buona base di metaforico, perchè risulta che un percentuale alta di iscritti al social network siano sardi residenti all’Estero e di conseguenza utilizzano il mezzo per essere in contatto con amici e parenti che non vedono da tanti.

Attualmente il social network di Camboni ha circa 8.500 iscritti che quotidianamente si connettono ed aggiornano i propri profili. Come ogni social network che si rispetti, anche qui gli utenti possono iscriversi gratuitamente, realizzare un profilo, pubblicare delle immagini, dei video o delle note o ancora digitare stati, blog e rispondere agli argomenti nelle pagine del forum.

La rete sociale, viene presentata dopo 5 anni anche perchè nell’ultimo anno di attività, si è messa in opera per promuovere attività nel sociale. In primis, la diffusione del materiale foto / video sulle due ragazze sarde disperse ultimamente, poi l’avvio di incontri per campagne di diffusione della lingua sarda, oltre che l’organizzazione di manifestazioni sportive.
Camboni ha parlato del futuro chiarendo che: “L’obiettivo principale di Sardinia People è di coinvolgere i Sardi e i simpatizzanti dell’Isola che navigano in rete, per ritrovarsi in una realtà virtuale che li accomuna“.
