RockMelt punta sull’integrazione con Facebook

Oggi parliamo di Marc Andreessen, il creatore del browser per Internet Netscape Navigator, uno dei principali concorrenti di Bill Gates negli anni ’90, quando la sfida tra Internet Explorer e Netscape Navigator, era all’ordine del giorno della cronaca economica mondiale.

Ad oggi, sembra proprio che il signor Andreesssen si sia deciso a tornare alla carica, seppur conscio di non dover sfidare più soltanto Microsoft, ma l’ormai diffusissimo Firefox.
Il nuovo browser in questione, si chiama RockMelt. Secondo le dichiarazioni di Andreessen, tutti i browser attualmente in circolazione, non riescono a cogliere ciò che realmente serve agli utenti del web e di conseguenza, egli ha sviluppato un software per la navigazione che consentirebbe in una maniera del tutto innovativa di poter interagire con i siti e le applicazioni. Quello su cui punta principalmente Marc Andreessen è l’integrazione con Facebook, il noto social network che dovrebbe far parte unica con il suo browser.

L’ideazione di questo web browser è ex novo, e non avrà nulla in comune con Netscape, come in molti possono pensare. Le informazioni sono realmente poche su questo nuovo browser, ma i rumors sono tantissimi. Tra i più diffusi, ci sono quelli secondo cui il magnate informatico americano, vorrebbe prendersi una rivincita su Bill Gates, che ebbe la geniale idea di integrare Explorer nel Sistema Operativo, così da fidelizzare un quantitativo di utenti enorme. Questo portò anche di conseguenza alla morte di Netscape. Ma come abbiamo enunciato ad inizio pezzo, Microsoft ha già i suoi bei problemi nella concorrenza con Firefox che quotidianamente continua il suo lavoro acquisendo molti utenti al giorno.

Unico punto su cui potrebbe farsi forza Andreessen, è la nuova direttiva della Commissione Europea, che ha obbligato Microsoft ad includere in Windows 7 i maggiori browser concorrenti, così da permettere la scelta all’utente.

Chissà se il buon vecchio Bill avrà già pronta una nuova mossa per contrattaccare…

  32. obviously like your website however you need to test the spelling on quite a few of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth on the other hand I will surely come back again.
