Reddit è in crisi, rischia la chiusura

La crisi del web non risparmia nessuno, ieri vi abbiamo parlato della crisi di DIGG, oggi invece dobbiamo registrare una situazione analoga anche per il “rivale” Reddit, il sito è rimasto con un solo sviluppatore attivo e due amministratori, il resto del personale ha lasciato l’azienda nei giorni scorsi.

Il traffico di Reddit è crollato, passando da 75 milioni di visitatori al mese ad appena 14 milioni, il futuro del sito non è ancora noto, Reddit potrebbe chiudere presto o essere ceduto, ma sarà difficile trovare un compratore.

L’enorme diffusione di Facebook e Twitter ha messo in ginocchio realtà importanti come DIGG, Reddit, Delicious, MySpace, StumbleUpon e tanti altri siti che, prima di altri, hanno fatto conoscere al mondo le potenzialità “social” del web.
