Il network cinese QZone è più grande di Facebook

Oggi Facebook è il social network più popolare del mondo, ma è anche quello con maggiori utenti? Sembrerebbe di no. Tencent, il portale internet più importante di tutta la Cina, collegato anche all’instant messenger cinese QQ,  ha di recente reso pubblici alcuni dati riguardanti il suo social network, dal nome QZone. E a quanto sembra, i suoi utenti superano quelli di Facebook.

Già a gennaio 2009 QZone con i suoi 200 milioni di utenti sorpassava Facebook, fermo a 175 milioni, e la crescita di QZone sembra inarrestabile, tanto da superare con i suoi utenti tutta la popolazione del Brasile.

Ma non è tutto. Uno sguardo più attento alla tabella qui sopra ci fa vedere che:

  • QZone è più grande di Facebook.
  • Facebook è più grande della Russia.
  • MySpace è grande quasi quanto il Messico.
  • Friendster è grande quasi quanto le Filippine.
  • LinkedIn, Bebo, e Xanga sono più grandi del Canada.
  • Twitter, la cui popolarità è in aumento, sarà presto più grande della Svezia.
  • Orkut è poco più grande della Francia

Se paragoniamo il mondo virtuale a quello reale, non possiamo non notare che i social network oggi sono l’equivalente dei paesi industrializzati. Quanto tempo ci vorrà prima che anche questi diventino un po’ troppo affollati?

  37. When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added”
    checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get three e-mails with the same comment.
    Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
