Quora è un servizio di domande e risposte “social” che prende ispirazione da Yahoo! Answers, ma unisce il meccanismo domande/risposte a quello dei social network. Gli utenti possono creare un profilo, aggiungere amici e condividere qualsiasi genere di contenuto.

Le domande e le discussioni possono essere condivise con gli altri utenti, che a loro volta potranno anche votare la qualità delle domande fatte e delle risposte ricevute. In questo modo si darà vita ad una classifica con gli argomenti più popolari e discussi sulla piattaforma.

Quora, per il momento, è disponibile solo in lingua inglese e questo potrebbe rappresentare un problema per la diffusione globale del servizio. Il sito sta comunque ottenendo un buon successo, per molti sarà il social network rivelazione dell’anno, non si esclude quindi la traduzione in altre lingue in un prossimo futuro. Quora è accessibile, per ora, solamente su invito.
