Polyvore: il social network si fa fashion

Oggi analizzeremo il social network boom per gli amanti degli acquisti compulsivi. Si chiama Polyvore ed è nato nel 2007. Si tratta di un social network che si autodefinisce dedicato alle fashion victims. Le amicizie virtuali createsi, avranno sicuramente un puno in comune: l’amore per la moda e per tutto quello che è fashion.
Ciò che permette Polyvore in più rispetto ad altri social network è il creare set di vestiti e accessoria scegliendo tra librerie di milioni di capi disponibili sui siti delle più grandi marche di abbigliamento mondiale.
Interessante l’utilizzo dell’editor che permette facendo taglia e incolla sulle immagini, ridimensionando, spostando ed accostando i colori, di creare un’intera mise di gradimento.
Nel box “Search” è possibile digitare e ricercare le parole di interesse come scarpe, borse, collane, ecc. oppure semplicemente ricercare per colore i capi o accessori di proprio interesse. Una volta salvato il completo si può condividere in modo da permettere alle altre fashion victims la possibilità di commentare e criticare.
I capi utilizzati in questo sito, nella loro scheda tecnica riportano il commerciante dello stesso in modo tale da avere la possibilità eventuale anche di acquistare il completo appena creato.
Attualmente il sito è solo in Inglese e quindi è necessaria una buona conoscenza dei nomi in lingua madre degli accessori o abiti di nostro interesse, ma si sta lavorando per la traduzione in italiano.
Dato di fatto che le combinazioni di abiti femminili sono circa dieci volte in più rispetto a quelle maschili…
