Playfish ha deciso di chiudere tre giochi Facebook, Pirates Ahoy, Poker Rivals e Gangster City saranno chiusi alla fine di giugno. Il motivo di questa scelta? Lo scarso traffico registrato da questi titoli, solo per fare un esempio Pirates Ahoy, lanciato lo scorso mese di luglio, è passato da 800.000 giocatori al giorno ai soli 40.000 attuali.

Poker Rivals e Gangster City invece sono stati oscurati da Poker Texas Hold’Em e Mafia Wars, i giochi Zynga hanno riscosso un maggior successo presso gli utenti e Playfish ha quindi deciso di rimuovere i suoi titoli dal social network più famoso del mondo.

Nelle prossime settimane Playfish potrebbe chiudere altri giochi di scarso successo, ricordiamo che la software house è stata acquistata qualche mese fa da Electronic Arts e recentemente ha pubblicato giochi come FIFA Superstars, Madden NFL Superstars e World Series Superstars.
