Pinterest rientra di diritto fra i social network più di tendenza del 2012. Indubbiamente Pinterest è in continua crescita, ed esserci sta diventando quasi una moda. Ma badate che si tratta, appunto, di un’eccezione, un caso più unico che raro. Ma proprio Pinterest, che era partito un po’ in sordina, potrebbe segnare una nuova era del social networking.

Secondo Shareaholic, Pinterest sta generando più traffico referral di Google Plus, LinkedIn e YouTube messi insieme. Un risultato impressionante se consideriamo la giovane età di questo social network, tanto da chiederci se in futuro potrà rappresentare una minaccia per il social di Zuckerberg.

A guardare i dati forniti da Shareaholic si direbbe di no, almeno per il momento. Infatti a Gennaio Pinterest ha generato appena un 3,6% di referral traffic contro il 26,4% totalizzato da Facebook. Pochino per essere chiamato come l’ennesima community Anti-Facebook. Però non bisogna dimenticare che Pinterest è ancora un social network a invito, senza il quale l’utente non può accedere.
