C’era apprensione per la sorte del profilo Twitter di Papa Benedetto XVI, cosa ne sarebbe stato dell’account alla fine del pontificato? Adesso abbiamo la risposta, da poche ore infatti tutti i (pochi) tweet pubblicati sul profilo @pontifex sono stati cancellati e la pagina risulta vuota, priva di messaggi. Addirittura il nome è stato cambiato da Papa Benedetto XVI a Sede Vacante.

I messaggi pubblicati sono comunque accessibili nell’archivio di News.va, qui trovate tutti i tweet di Bendetto XVI, l’ultimo è stato pubblicato proprio ieri, poco prima di lasciare il suo ruolo:

Adesso non sappiamo se il futuro pontefice continuerà ad usare Twitter oppure no, questo lo scopriremo presto, in ogni caso l’account Pontifex rimane attivo (seppur vuoto) con quasi 1,6 milioni di seguaci.
