Owen Van Natta passa a Myspace

Owen Van Natta, ex COO (Chief Operating Officer), è stato nominato come il nuovo CEO (Chief Executive Officer) di Myspace. E’ passato poco più di un anno da quando ha lasciato il suo vecchio lavoro come collaboratore di Zuckerberg. Ora è pronto a ricominciare con una nuova mansione. Concorrenza? Beh non proprio, considerando il fatto che Van Natta non conosce le ultime features di Facebook ma, solamente, il sistema globale di organizzazione e funzioni del social network. Myspace ha fatto un buon investimento? Lo vedremo nei prossimi mesi, tempo durante il quale Van Natta potrà farsi valere.

Ecco come ha commentato la situazione lo stesso Owen:

I feel honored to build upon the immeasurable achievements of the MySpace founders and look forward to working with Jon and the MySpace team to meet the challenges and make the most of the opportunities before us.

Mi sento onorato di collaborare all’incommensurabile lavoro dei fondatori di MySpace e ansioso di lavorare con Jon e il team di MySpace per far fronte alle sfide e sfruttare al massimo le opportunità davanti a noi.

Per ciò che concerne ai segreti di Facebook, e sicuramente imposizioni da parte della società che, a fine contratto richiede il silenzio riguardante i suoi contenuti, potrebbe svolgersi una forte battaglia legale con Myspace. Nessune vuole rivelare i propri punti di forza, soprattutto in questo momento che Facebook sta concretizzando il suo programma di monetizzazione.

Per ciò che riguarda Van Natta, egli possiede una bella fetta delle azioni Facebook, e ciò rende il tutto ancora più grande di un comune conflitto d’interessi. Myspace avrà fatto una giusta scelta? Sicuramente si. Il suo traffico continua a diminuire in maniera lenta ma continua, sempre più utenti scelgono di passare a Facebook chiudendo “baracca e burattini” nel vecchio social network. Van Natta aiuterà a ritornare gli infedeli?

  21. I don’t know if it’s just me or if everyone else experiencing problems with your website. It seems like some of the text on your posts are running off the screen. Can someone else please comment and let me know if this is happening to them too? This could be a problem with my web browser because I’ve had this happen before. Kudos

  27. Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
