Come nascondere le attività recenti su Facebook

Tra le tante novità che stanno arrivando su Facebook negli ultimi giorni, compreso ad esempio il sistema di tag automatico con la lettera maiuscola della persona che si vuole etichettare nel proprio post, fa il suo debutto una funzionalità molto attesa dai fan del social network più popolare al mondo che permette adesso di poter nascondere alla vista di amici e visitatori le proprie attività recenti, solitamente pubblicate automaticamente sul profilo.

La nuova funzionalità è stata attivata all’inizio di questa settimana e l’unica cosa che dovrete fare (se lo desiderate) è quella di nascondere tramite un apposito sistema tutte le novità in termini di attività che preferireste rimanessero segrete alla vista di tutti, un’amicizia o il commento su un link “compromettente” ad esempio, di motivi potrebbero essercene tanti ma si tratta comunque di una nuova vittoria per la privacy su Facebook.

Per farlo basta recarsi sulla destra della frase che descrive l’attività, ad esempio “Tizio ha stretto amicizia con Caio“. Apparirà una X che vi permetterà questa volta non solo rimuovere come già accadeva prima la determinata attività, ma anche di nascondere tutte le future dello stesso tipo, come ad esempio, qualsiasi commento fatto su profili o link altrui.

Considerato che parliamo di una decisione importante, Facebook vi chiederà più volte la conferma prima di procedere. Una volta fatto tutte le attività, o solo quelle che desiderate, saranno nascoste per sempre alla visualizzazione dei vostri amici o visitatori.

Se in futuro decidereste comunque di cambiare quanto fatto in precedenza, recatevi in basso alla pagina del vostro profilo e selezionate l’opzione “Edit Option“. A questo punto apparirà una finestra di dialogo che vi chiederà quali delle attività volete che rimangano nascoste e quali invece potranno essere riattivate tranquillamente nel sistema. Una volta deciso cosa fare cliccate sul pulsante “Salva” per memorizzare le nuove impostazioni.
