Nasce qmpeople, il nuovo social network per fare amicizia!

Stavolta parliamo di qmpeople, social network emergente realizzato in pieno stile web 2.0 ed orientato alla creazione di nuove amicizie. Potrebbe sembrare un dettaglio specificarlo tuttavia ricordiamo che, ad esempio, Facebook si focalizza sul mantenimento delle amicizie esitenti e Twitter sulla condivisione del proprio status e solo indirettamente alla creazione di un network composto da persone “interessate” a conoscere cosa stiamo facendo in un determinato momento.

Qmpeople come detto nasce invece per facilitare l’incontro tra persone provenienti da ogni parte del globo grazie ad un meccanismo di richiesta amicizia mutuato da Facebook, drasticamente potenziato dalla scelta di rendere completamente pubblici i profili degli utenti in via predefinita. L’immagine che abbiamo scelto è molto eloquente e sposa perfettamente i due concetti cardine di qmpeople: la facilità nel conoscere nuovi amici in rete e l’estrema semplicità d’uso.

E’ sorprendente infatti constatare come una interfaccia così intuitiva in realtà nasconda funzionalità degne dei più blasonati concorrenti che vantano crescite in tripla cifra. A titolo di esempio menzioniamo la possibilità di condividere automaticamente i propri video su YouTube, i propri contenuti su Facebook e Twitter, la possibilità di ricreare il proprio network di amicizie esistenti a partire dagli indirizzi presenti nella rubrica del proprio account di posta piuttosto che creando gruppi come su MSN Groups (ora multiply.com), il poter postare richieste di aiuto in stile Yahoo Answers e molto altro ancora.

Altra nota positiva riguarda la politica di gestione della privacy degli utenti visto che non viene richiesto di specificare dati personali ed anche l’indirizzo email (obbligatorio in fase di registrazione) non viene mai comunicato a terzi neanche per mere finalità commerciali. Disponibile in numerose versioni tradotte nelle più diffuse lingue internazionali tra cui l’italiano (probabilmente ancora in fase di rilascio). Il giudizio complessivo non può che essere decisamente positivo. Facciamo un grande in bocca al lupo a qmpeople da tutta la redazione di Iochatto!

But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two images. Maybe you could space it out better?

  16. Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and all. However just imagine if you added some great visuals or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and clips, this site could certainly be one of the greatest in its niche. Superb blog!

  18. I don’t know if it’s just me or if everyone else experiencing problems with your website. It seems like some of the text within your posts are running off the screen.
