Meemi, dalla blogosfera alla memesfera

Da tempo, su Internet, circola l’ipotesi che il social network porterà alla morte del blog. Nei social network il flusso delle informazioni è più veloce, la condivisione di parole, immagini, video, è pressocché immediata. Cosa deve fare allora la blogosfera per non estinguersi? Deve trovare nuovi modi per gestire questa enorme quantità di testi, citazioni, e link che invadono la rete.

La community di Meemi nasce dal tentativo di creare un sistema di micro-blogging che abbia però le stesse caratteristiche di condivisione rapida e facile dei contenuti, tipica dei social network più famosi, come Facebook. Con Meemi è possibile conoscere nuovi amici e seguirli in ogni momento tramite meme.

Ma cos’è un meme?

La definizione ufficiale recita più o meno così:

Un meme è una riconoscibile entità di informazione relativa alla cultura umana che è replicabile da una mente o un supporto simbolico di memoria
(da Wikipedia.org)

Però nell’uso comune la parola meme viene utilizzata piuttosto per indicare una serie di “tormentoni” (video, foto, ma anche catene di Sant’Antonio) molto popolari in rete. Ed è con questo significato, che l’uso del meme si è diffuso all’interno dei social network.

Ma se per meme noi intendiamo un qualsiasi pezzo di informazione che viene trasmesso da una mente ad un’altra, alla stessa maniera di un post, di un SMS, con l’eventualità di condividerlo all’infinito, ecco che diventa possible immaginare una evoluzione della blogosfera, in una più attuale, veloce, e interattiva, memesfera.

    issues. When I look at your blog site in Safari,
    it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.
