Vi ricordate le dichiarazioni di Zuckerberg rilasciate qualche mese fa, sul problema della privacy su Facebook? “Non è un problema così grave, visto che per i ragazzi della mia generazione la privacy non è un valore come lo era invece per i nostri genitori”.

Parole che hanno fatto il giro del mondo, suscitando polemiche e dando vita a vere e proprie guerre tra i fan di Zuck e coloro che odiano il biondino fondatore di Facebook.

A quanto pare però Mark Zuckerberg ci tiene alla privacy (nonostante, ricordiamolo, per noi giovani non è un valore) visto che il suo profilo Facebook e la fan page ufficiale dispensano informazioni con il contagocce.

Partiamo proprio dal profilo ufficiale di Mark Zuckerberg, possiamo navigarlo liberamente, peccato però che non ci sia praticamente niente, se non un box con data di nascita (14 maggio 1984, è nato un mese prima di chi vi scrive), città (Palo Alto – California) e studi effettuati (laureato da Harvard). La sezione info riporta le stese informazioni, più una breve biografia (I’m trying to make the world a more open place, tradotto: sto cercando di rendere in mondo un posto ancora più aperto). Sono presenti anche due citazioni: una di Albert Einstein ed una di Pablo Picasso. E poi le preferenze: Zuck è fan dei Nirava, di Lady Gaga, del rapper Jay-Z, mentre tra i film preferiti troviamo The Dark Knight (Batman – Il cavaliere oscuro), Iron Man, Star Wars e Matrix.

Fine delle informazioni, il profilo personale di Zuck non contiene altro. Non possiamo scrivere sulla sua bacheca (ma solamente visualizzare i messaggi presenti) e nemmeno richiedere la sua amicizia. E’ vietato anche sapere quanti sono gli amici di Mark. Ovviamente, niente foto. Un profilo decisamente povero insomma.

Passiamo invece alla pagina pubblica, che conta più di 700.000 fan attivi. Contiene qualche fotografia, un video ed una bacheca piuttosto attiva, anche se nel complesso si vede che si tratta di una pagina promozionale, probabilmente non è gestita direttamente da Mark.

Zuckerberg è piuttosto restio a svelare informazioni personali su Facebook, eppure chiede a noi di fidarci apertamente e di condividere tutte le nostre preferenze e le nostre foto private.
