Mark Zuckerberg è uno tra i più grandi innovatori di sempre: a fare questa affermazione non siamo stati noi di IoChatto ma, piuttosto, i partecipanti ad una recente indagine condotta in America con l’obiettivo, appunto, di stilare una classifica, più o meno attendibile, di coloro che, secondo l’opinione comune, hanno cambiato ed innovato in qualche modo il mondo e, nel bene o nel male, sono rimasti e resteranno, almeno per il momento, nella storia.

Nello specifico, l’indagine, condotta, ad inizio anno corrente, da Lemelson-MIT Invention Index, è stata effettuata su un campione di 1010 giovani americani aventi un’età compresa tra i 16 ed i 25 anni.

La maggior parte dei partecipanti al sondaggio, esattamente il 52%, ha scelto come principale innovatore Thomas Edison che, proprio per tale ragione, va a collocarsi direttamente al primo posto della classifica, così com’è anche possibile notare dando uno sguardo all’apposita infografica presente ad inizio post e visionabile anche cliccando qui.

Al secondo posto in classifica va invece a collocarsi Steve Jobs, l’ex CEO Apple, voluto sul podio dal 24% dei partecipanti al sondaggio.

Al terzo ed al quarto posto troviamo poi, rispettivamente, Alexander Bell e Marie Curie.

Al quinto posto si colloca invece Mark Zuckerberg, il ben noto e giovane fondatore di Facebook, che, pur non essendo stato scelto come grande innovatore da un elevata percentuale dei partecipanti al sondaggio (circa il 3%), è riuscito a guadagnarsi un posto in questa classifica che, anche risultando apparentemente di poco conto, tende a mettere in evidenza chi e come, dal punto di vista dei più giovani, ha contribuito ad innovare.

Sicuramente la presenza in classifica di Zuck, diffusione di Facebook a parte, è imputabile al suo essere riuscito, nel giro di poco tempo e, probabilmente, senza neanche troppe pretese in partenza, a creare uno strumento che, almeno oggigiorno, risulta vincente e grazie al quale favorire la condivisione di informazioni ed il contatto tra gli abitanti dell’intero pianeta, o giù di li, in maniera tanto semplice quanto immediata… un dato questo che appare come tutt’altro che di poco conto.

Nella classifica, dopo Zuckerberg, seguono poi Amelia Earhart e Temple Grandin.
