Finchè sei un giovincello di provincia che mette on line foto ed informazioni riguardo le sue bighellonate o ancora della sera dell’ubriacata generale a casa di un amico, non dovrebbero esserci grossi problemi (a meno che ciò non sia stato nascosto ai genitori). Ma se sei Sir John Sawers, il nuovo capo designato dell’MI6, i servizi segreti britannici, qualche problema potrebbe esserci. I rischi che corre lo 007 dell’Inghilterra, sono venuti a galla dopo che la sua gentile signora, ha tranquillamente pubblicato sul proprio profilo del social network più noto Facebook, delle fotografie con luoghi in didascalia che ritraggono Sir Sawers insieme a lei ed i figli. Tutto ciò in momenti privati e di relax, come le vacanze ultime di cui sono presenti fotografie con amici e soprattutto attori noti dello star system. Si è sollevato così un polverone che ha sollevato enormi questioni sulla sicurezza. Il Ministro degli Esteri David Miliband, invece è dalla parte di Sawers e tenta di ridimensionare l’accaduto (l’MI6 è responsabile per i servizi d’informazione dall’estero). Il caso della vita vuole che proprio su Facebook era apparsa la “Campagna per avere accesso a riserve di talenti che rappresentano la società britannica di oggi”.
