Le truffe sui social network: Facebook reagisce

Sono partite le prime azioni legali avviate dal big dei social network, Facebook, nei confronti di alcuni soggetti che avevano avviato delle truffe ai danni di utenti registrati al sito stesso. Il colosso del web ha citato a giudizio già due cittadini statunitensi, uno di New York e l’altro di Las Vegas, e poi una società di Marketing del Canada. Il rapporto della citazione delle tre vertenze è chiaro.

Si parla di offerte pubblicizzate della serie “troppo vantaggiose per essere reali”, che nei mesi scorsi, hanno scorrazzato liberamente tra gli advertising del social network. Fatto sta che i resoconti mostrano che di utenti creduloni ce n’è sono tanti veramente. Le vittime di questa pubblicità ingannevole, che addirittura hanno condiviso sulla propria bacheca queste iniziative “strane” sono stati tantissimi.

Si trattava di una sorta di concorso che permetteva a chi condividesse più informazioni possibili sul web rispetto a questa applicazione, il ritiro di buoni spesa dal valore di 1.000 dollari, oltre che degli Apple iPad gratis.
Inoltre, uno di questi tre truffatori chiamati in tribunale, si era preso il lusso di ricreare un finto pulsante di “Non mi piace”, che portava gli utenti a siti internet commerciali. Uno di questi truffatori, secondo Facebook, si sarebbe portato a casa 170.000 dollari, una interessante somma di denaro che arriva dalle tasche di 338.000 utenti, oltre tutto il traffico web arrivato sul sito internet.
