Ancora continua l’assedio al sito di microblogging Twitter. Dopo i tanti attacchi, sembra che si sia creata una sorta di circolo vizioso di team hacker esperti e meno esperti per attaccare di continuo il social network e ricercare le vulnerabilità nelle procedure di login del sito. Questa volta, l’attacco è stato avviato attraverso Twitter Cut che è un servizio on line (attualmente bloccato) che permetteva questa operazione di pishing. Fatto sta che con i certificati già il sito non si era messo in regola, anche se gli utenti meno esperti non si sono resi conto della situazione. Questo perchè collegandosi con un browser Internet Explorer, già il messaggi di allarme era: “Questo sito Web è stato segnalato come non sicuro … Si consiglia di interrompere l’esplorazione del sito Web. … Questo è un sito Web di phishing che si sostituisce ad un sito Web attendibile allo scopo di ottenere informazioni personali o finanziarie dell’utente“.
