Il nuovo MySpace si fa chiamare “Social Portal”

Sempre più accesa la sfida di MySpace, orientata a sovrastare gli altri social network e tornare in vetta. Il confronto principe in questo momento è sempre quello con Facebook che continua a tenere il podio di utenti e di continuità tra i social network. Ci sono però delle differenze definibili fondamentali tra i due social network e secondo gli uomini di MySpace, gli elementi sono racchiusi nel contenuto e nella capacità che MySpace ha rispetto a Facebook di ”partecipare alla produzione di segni”. Su questo punto in particolare vuole basarsi il processo innovativo di MySpace che vuole trasformarsi da “Social Network” in “Social Portal”, e ad annunciarlo è proprio Francesco Barbarani, Country Manager di Myspace Italia durante la presentazione tenutasi ieri a Milano di una indagine sui social network in Italia ed il loro impatto, curata dalla Aegis Media Expert. Le parole di Barbarani sono decise: “L’elemento caratterizzante di MySpace è la centralità dei contenuti, espressione della creatività e della personalità dei nostri utenti. Grazie al nostro posizionamento, il mercato e gli utenti stessi ci riconoscono lo status di territorio elettivo per la comunicazione a 360 gradi. L’obiettivo del prossimo futuro è di arricchire la piattaforma di servizi, contenuti e iniziative, al fine di far diventare MySpace la porta di accesso al Web”.
Il profilo web 2.0  è già pronto e continuerà a portare per gli utenti una semplificazione della piattaforma ed un miglioramento sia funzionale che nella fruizione e condivisione. Saranno aumentate le opzioni di personalizzazione della pagina (che sicuramente saranno rese più ordinate) e sarà fatto di tutto per rendere la pagina più rapida ed accessibile. Ci sarà inoltre un bilanciamento dei contenuti tra quelli generati dagli utenti e quelli professionali.
Paola Dubini, professore associato di Economia aziendale all’Universita’ Bocconi ha dichiarato in merito che: “Sempre più la competizione fra i player in rete si giochera’ sulla capacita’ di attirare navigatori esperti. Il digital divide, infatti, riguardera’ sempre meno la capacita’ di usare i media digitali e sempre piu’ la capacita’ di discernimento dei contenuti”.

  5. Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and all. However just imagine if you added some great pictures or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and clips, this website could certainly be one of the very best in its niche. Superb blog!

My site has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my authorization. Do you know any methods to help reduce content from being ripped off? I’d truly appreciate it.
