Il Garante della Privacy lancia la guida all’uso dei Social Network

E’ sempre più comune sentir parlare di invasione della privacy, di cause decennali avviate contro colossi dell’informatica per l’invasione o la divulgazione dei dati personali e con l’aumentare in forma esponenziale delle iscrizioni a Facebook, MySpace, MSN e l’aumentare di servizi di geolocalizzazione, è sempre più difficile tutelarsi…da se e dagli altri. E’ difficile difendere la propria reputazione, evitare che le proprie foto siano pubblicate on line proprio perchè i widgets offerti dai social network permettono l’utilizzo di questi strumenti (tanti sono i casi delle coppie distrutte a causa di Facebook, anche di persone non iscritte).
A questo proposito il Garante della Privacy ha messo a punto e pubblicato una guida che si chiama: “Social Network: Attenzione agli effetti collaterali“. Anche se non è un vero e proprio manuale esaustivo, si tratta di un vademecum per le persone – soprattutto quelle alle prime armi – che si imbattono quotidianamente nel login di un social network o di una chat. Inoltre ci sono dei consigli sul come muoversi, qualora si sia stati “messi in mezzo” da qualcuno senza la propria autorizzazione o il proprio consenso.
La guida è suddivisa in quattro capitoli principali organizzati modularmente con consigli e riflessioni per la propria formazione nella virtual social life.
La prima parte è: “Avviso ai naviganti“. In questa parte ci sono tutti spunti di funzionamento base e rischi base che si possono incontrare nei social network. La seconda si intitola: “Ti sei mai chiesto?”, ed è una parte che è scritta sotto forma di check list dove ogni utente può controllare legislativamente cosa è possibile fare per se stessi e per la privacy degli altri. Il terzo capitolo si intitola “Consigli per un uso consapevole dei social network” dove c’è il decalogo dei controlli da fare nei pericoli che si possono incontrare nei social network. Il quarto ed ultimo capitolo si intitola “Il gergo della rete” ed è una spiegazione NON tecnica dei termini informatici maggiormente utilizzati nei social network.

  7. Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. I’ve been using Movable-type on a variety of websites for about a year and am nervous about switching to another platform. I have heard great things about blogengine.net.
