Gran Bretagna: lo sfogo su Facebook le fa perdere il lavoro

Kimberly Swann, impiegata londinese aveva scritto su Facebook: “Il mio lavoro e’ noioso“. Questa la frase incriminata che è costata alla ragazza il posto di lavoro nella piccola azienda di Clacton dove lavorare. Le motivazioni secondo i responsabili del personale sarebbero nello “screditare” l’azienda on-line (anche se in realtà il nome dell’azienda non era mai apparso su Facebook).
Fatto sta che il datore di lavoro ha rilasciato alla stampa dichiarazioni del tipo: “Kimberley, primo giorno di lavoro, – oh my God – cosi’ noioso”. Al secondo giorno invece – Kimberly tutto quello che fa e’ macinare carta e fare fotocopie, oh my God“. Qui la chiamata del capo nel suo ufficio per dirle: “Ho visto i suoi commenti su Facebook, non voglio che la mia società venga screditata“.
Inutile è stata la difesa della giovane che lunedì scorso si è vista recapitare a casa la lettera di licenziamento immediato con il rapporto che cita: “Se non si sente appagata e non le piace, crediamo sia meglio concludere con effetto immediato il rapporto con la Ivell Marketing & Logistics“. Dalla sua Kimberly ha avuto però i sindacati che subito sono partiti legislativamente per tutelare la ragazza.
Non è il primo caso di licenziamento dovuto da Facebook, già il mese scorso erano stati buttati fuori alcuni impiegati di “Marks & Spencer” – la catena di grandi magazzini – perchè on-line aveva definito i propri clienti degli “idioti”. Stessa sorte ricordiamo a Novembre per i lavoratori della “British Airways” che parlavano dei passeggeri della compagnia con toni poco graditi definendoli “puzzolenti e fastidiosi”. Analogia i tredici steward e hostess che avevano descritto come “zotici” i viaggiatori della “Virgin Atlantic“.

Lo sfogo sul social network, viene visto come mezzo di comunicazione con i propri amici, ma molto spesso secondo gli psicologi, non viene dato giusto peso a ciò che si scrive “in pubblico”. Questo può essere un forte handicap per gli utilizzatori dei network, perchè creano un personal branding scadente che riporta a sicure conseguenze in ambito personale e lavorativo.

  19. I don’t know if it’s just me or if everybody else experiencing issues with your site. It appears as though some of the written text on your content are running off the screen.   25. My coder is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on numerous websites for about a year and am nervous about switching to another platform. I have heard great things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it? Any help would be really appreciated!
