Google+: ora gli utenti possono decidere chi è autorizzato a notificarli

Continuano ad essere annesse nuove ed utili funzionalità a Google+, il social network del gran colosso delle ricerche in rete, mediante cui viene offerte la possibilità a tutti i suoi utenti di personalizzarne ed ottimizzarne l’utilizzo a seconda delle diverse esigenze.

Anche nelle ultime ore, a tal proposito, è stata aggiunta un’altra interessante opzione alla sezione Impostazioni di Google+ mediante cui tutti gli iscritti al social network hanno ora la possibilità di selezionare chi è autorizzato a notificarli.

La funzionalità in questione, presente sotto la voce di Chi può interagire con te e con i tuoi post, stando a quanto rivelato da Kathleen Ko, Software Engineer di Google, è stata aggiunta in risposta al voto popolare di diversi utenti presenti su Google+ che, negli ultimi tempi, hanno inoltrato molteplici richieste relative ai controlli sulla privacy.

Ma perchè è utile la nuova funzionalità? La risposta è semplice: perchè se in passato gli iscritti a Google+, in particolar modo quelli più popolari, si erano visti costretti a dover combattere con un ingente quantitativo di notifiche in arrivo (tra l’altro indesiderate), ora, invece, si ha la possibilità di gestire il tutto con maggiore efficienza e semplicità.

Implementazione della nuova funzionalità a parte (che, tra l’altro, vista la recente introduzione potrebbe non essere ancora disponibile per tutti e, in tal caso, toccherà pazientare un po’) è interessante notare come Google+, a differenza di molte altre risorse di social networkig, stia cercando di andare sempre più incontro ai suoi utilizzatori aggiungendo ulteriori features tenendo conto delle richieste della comunity.

In tal modo, quindi, non soltanto il social network reso disponibile da Google sta guadagnando ogni giorno di più il favore della vasta utenza ma, inoltre, procedendo sulla medesima linea e con il trascorrere del tempo, andrà sempre più a configurarsi come un servizio realizzato a misura d’utente.
