Google ed il crittogramma per Twitter

Una storia che ha del paranormale quella che lega Twitter e Google dal 4 Settembre. Un messaggio postato sul servizio di microblogging in tale data, ha reso noto un crittogramma: “1.12.12 25.15.21.18 15 1.18.5 2.5.12.15.14.7 20.15 21.19”. Inspiegabilmente a questo, pubblicato il 4 Settembre del 2009 alle 9.02 PM sul proprio profilo, ecco che sabato mattina, il 5, il logo di Google da degli input particolari. Per la giornata appare con gli UFO che cercano di tirare su le due “O” di Google, ma che restano comunque saldata alla scritta di BigG.

I numeri che sono stati inseriti, sono 5 sequenze divise dal numero 18. Secondo i molti blogger che si sono divertiti ad interpretarla, basta sostituire le lettere ai numeri nella sequenza per avere un risultato che ha sconvolto tutti: “All your o are belong to us” che tradotto vorrebbe dire “Tutte le tue ‘o’ appartengono a noi”. Un messaggio alquanto particolare, diventato quasi un enigma considerato che in Twitter non compaiono le O.

I retroscena, vorrebbero però che le O non siano quelle presenti nella parola in se stessa Twitter, bensì quella della società Obvious Corporation di San Francisco, che gestisce Twitter. Larry Page e Sergey Brin, probabilmente hanno voluto scherzare ricordando quello che era forse il progenitore di Twitter e cioè Obvious, il social network per cinguettare.

Le bufale che sono uscite fuori riguardo questo messaggio sono state tantissime a partire da quella che vorrebbe Twitter come fonte primaria dei problemi di Google, o ancora che quest’ultima volesse attaccare il social network dimostrando che a proprio piacimento potrebbe oscurarne la visibilità nel proprio motore di ricerca ed ancora tante altre. Ricordiamo però che nel Marzo del 2009, la società di Mountain View, aveva tentato di acquistare Twitter, ma l’operazione sfumò ed i dettagli di questo colpo mancato non sono mai stati resi noti al pubblico. La cifra per l’acquisto del social network, però, sarebbe ancora pronta nelle casse di Google ed è pari a circa 9 miliardi di dollari.
