Google acquista Bump Technologies

Sempre più progressi sul mercato, ed esponenzialità nei contenuti offerti dal leader indiscusso del search engine Google. Il suo percorso, lo sta pian piano facendo diventare leader non solo più nell’ambito del search engine, ma come una “belva onnivora”, sta entrando in tutte le realtà dell’Information & Communication Technology, mettendosi tra i leader indiscussi.

L’ultimo colpo fatto dalla società di Mountain View è stato l’acquisto di Bump Technologies. Parliamo di una software house che è già nota per la creazione di Bump Top, il software che permette di rendere tridimensionale il desktop e che risulta una applicazione molto in voga tra i giovani.
Il desktop in 3D, viene incontro a Microsoft che a molti non sta più bene offrendo solo il 2D. Ovviamente il primo pensiero che è venuto agli analisti web dopo questo “colpaccio” è stato che a breve ci sarà qualche integrazione tra il 3D del desktop ed il browser di Google Chrome.
Ma torniamo a parlare del colosso. Dall’inizio dell’anno 2010, Google ha già acquisito ben 8 società che in ambiti diversi lavorano on line. Parliamo di Labpixies, iscraeliana realizzatrice di widget; Plink, inglese che lavora per il viral marketing ed i device mobili; le Aardvark e reMail, indicizzatori di ricerca; Picnik, realizzatrice di un plug-in di photo editing on line ed infine Episodic, come azienda di monitoraggio del videostreaming.
Oltre a questo, corre voce che Google stia facendo tantissime assunzioni di ex dipendenti Microsoft, Yahoo e Facebook per…non si sa ancora cosa ma lo si può ipotizzare.

Un percorso in salita quindi quello che ipotizza Google per il suo futuro. Il suo comportamento viene definito dai CEO delle aziende concorrenti, come quello di uno schiacciasassi. Sta cercando ovviamente di fare “tutto in casa”, in modo tale da avere un futuro assicurato per tutti i settori e le applicazioni che vuole garantire ai propri utenti.

I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!

  11. I was curious if you ever thought of changing the page layout of your site? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two images. Maybe you could space it out better?
