Secondo quanto dichiarato da una recente ricerca effettuata dalla Gartner, i siti di social networking come Facebook e Twitter, stanno guadagnando sempre più terreno rispetto alle vecchie email. I servizi di messaggistica offerti dalle reti sociali, infatti, già ad oggi sembrano sostituire il 20% della posta elettronica, guadagnandosi una bella fetta di utenti che dovrebbe essere in continua evoluzione fino al 2014.
