Nelle ultime settimane molti agricoltori virtuali hanno barattato la vita di fattoria con la più emozionante vita di frontiera. Insomma su Facebook hanno cominciato a giocare a FrontierVille dopo mesi passati chini sul PC a giocare a FarmVille. Ma la cosa non ci sorprende troppo, perchè il nuovo gioco firmato Zynga somigla per molti aspetti a FarmVille, e come quest’ultimo sembra ben avviato al successo.

A sorprenderci sono i dati resi pubblici da Zynga a proposito dei cosiddetti FrontierVille Facts, letteralmente i “fatti su FrontierVille” che raccolgono le notizie più curiose. Ecco qui un assaggio di cosa è accaduto nella prima settimana di gioco.

1. Un milione di utenti è diventato papà o mamma. Naturalmente si tratta di un bebè virtuale, ma l’emozione è stata comunque grandissima.

2. Tre milioni di utenti sono riusciti a spaventare e a mandar via almeno un orso infuriato su sette.

3. Sei milioni di utenti hanno costruito la propria abitazione (cabin).

4. Dieci milioni di serpenti sono stati affrontati durante una battuta di caccia.

5. Tre milioni di utenti hanno  costruito uno Store, cioè un negozio per i regali.

6. Due milioni di utenti si sono sposati (ma solo per gioco).

7. Venti milioni di utenti è il numero finora raggiunto dalla popolazione virtuale di FrontierVille. E stavolta non parliamo di avatar, ma di giocatori in carne ed ossa.

FrontierVille è stato lanciato il 9 giugno 2010, ed è già diventato un “classico” dei giochi Facebook.
