Ancora dagli Stati Uniti, le notizie che riportano novità dal fronte evasione fiscale derivante dai profili personali sui social network. Il consiglio degli evasori professionisti è: non esagerare nel presentare i propri averi. Le attuali tecnologie collegate alle reti sociali, rendono nota la possibilità alla legge di scoprire prima chi evade le tasse potendosi permettere beni di lusso, dichiarando un reddito di circa 20 mila euro annui.
L’ultimo caso riportato dalla stampa e dal Governo americano, infatti, parla del caso di un cittadino, noto evasore del Minnesota, che sul social network MySpace aveva annunciato il suo felice ritorno nella città natale, dopo aver lavorato per molto tempo da libero professionista in un’altra città, e di avere trovato un semplice lavoro da agente immobiliare. Ecco che gli agenti della finanza americana, hanno trovato informazioni sul losco figuro che non aveva mai dichiarato tutti i migliaia di dollari incassati nella attività libera e si è visto costretto a pagare svariate migliaia di dollari di tasse.

Ancora in California, un noto evasore presente negli archivi dell’Internal Revenue Service è stato trovato dopo una discussione sul profilo della nuova sede del suo negozio di barche a vela. Altro caso sempre nel continente americano, riguarda invece il Nebraska, dove un DJ è stato beccato dopo che per una serata musicale non ha pagato le tasse sui compensi ricevuti. Sempre il Nebraska come protagonista ha trovato un simpatico responsabile del marketing in una grossa società americana che utilizzava il suo nome per fare le ricevute fiscali su un sito e-commerce scovato su Google. Per quest’ultimo è stato reso noto l’importo della sanzione: 30.000 dollari.

In tutti questi casi, i fili conduttori sono due: Facebook e l’evasione fiscale. Il social network più noto al mondo, rende come unica possibilità di privacy quella dell’avere accesso al profilo solo su invito. Però, vista la moda dell’accettare le amicizie dagli sconosciuti è molto semplice essere beccati nei loschi affari.
