Si sta scatenando in questi giorni negli Stati Uniti una guerra a causa dell’ascesa prepotente del social network Big F che cerca (e riesce) di sbaragliare tutta la concorrenza nel settore. Facebook contro tutti per essere sempre sotto i riflettori. L’ultima notizia che ha generato malumori è quella che vuole Facebook come primo ed unico depositario presso lo USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office), di un brevetto relativo ad una tecnologia che riguarda i Feed per i social network. Praticamente una innovazione derivante dal web che distribuisce tutte le informazioni tramite feed RSS agli utenti iscritti.

 
Questo brevetto, avrebbe suscitato lo scontento di molti rivali, tra cui Twitter che lo ha definito come una sorta di strategia tesa al monopolio.

 
Il fondatore di Socialthing, Matt Galligan, ha dichiarato che c’è la necessità di produrre delle regole riguardo le procedure di analisi e di approvazione dei brevetti in materia informatica.
Secondo i rumors, dietro a questo brevetto però ce n’è sarebbe un altro molto più forte…
