Facebook, ora è possibile tradurre automaticamente i post pubblicati

Se ne parlava già da qualche tempo ed alcuni utenti avevano anche avuto modo di sperimentarne le fattezze in anteprima ma, finalmente, nelle ultime ore è stata resa disponibile a tutti la nuova funzionalità di traduzione automatica dei post pubblicati su Facebook.

Il processo di traduzione, infatti, viene eseguito automaticamente semplicemente cliccando sul collegamento Traduci annesso al di sotto di ciascun post (per intenderci, accanto a Mi piace e Commenta) pubblicato in una lingua diversa dalla propria, così come illustrato nello screenshot d’esempio presente ad inizio articolo.

L’utente, dunque, non avrà la necessità di selezionare la lingua di origine ne tanto meno quella di destinazione ma dovrà limitarsi esclusivamente a cliccare sul sopracitato collegamento.

Successivamente, qualora si volesse ripristinare la lingua originale del post tutto ciò che risulterà necessario fare non sarà altro che cliccare sul collegamento Originale visualizzato in sostituzione di Traduci.

La funzionalità di traduzione dei post è stata resa disponibile grazie alla collaborazione con Bing, il motore di ricerca targato Microsoft, servendosi di Bing Translator.

Tuttavia va sottolineato il fatto che la funzione di traduzione dei post, allo stato attuale delle cose, risulta disponibile solo e soltanto per le pagine e per poter rendere disponibile il servizio in questione dovrà essere effettuata la procedura di abilitazione.

Questo sta quindi a significare che l’amministratore di quella data pagina Facebook dovrà effettuare l’accesso al pannello di settaggio di quest’ultima cliccando sul collegamento Modifica pagina presente in alto a destra, selezionare poi Le tue impostazioni dal menu collocato sulla sinistra e, infine, scegliere da Traduzione da la modalità mediante cui effettuare il processo di traduzione.

Le traduzioni sono disponibili in ogni lingua e, inoltre, gli utenti Facebook provenienti dalla Corea, dal Giappone, dalla Russia, da Taiwan e da Hong Kong potranno contribuire fornendo la traduzione corretta qualora venissero riscontrati eventuali errori.
