Facebook aggiorna lo stream: più real time e meno spam

Il design della homepage di Facebook è cambiato di nuovo, e stavolta ci mostra un’importante novità. Gli utenti italiani avranno notato che in cima alla home ora compaiono due caselle: “notizie” e “mostra tempo reale“. Si tratta di una suddivisione tra le “top news” e le “real time news“.

Le top news, nelle intenzioni degli sviluppatori di Facebook, vogliono offrire una specie di sommario delle notizie e degli eventi più importanti che si sono succeduti nel corso della giornata. La loro importanza viene misurata a seconda del nostro grado di “interattività” con le persone che le hanno pubblicate. In questo modo lo stream ci mostra solo le informazioni di quei contatti con i quali interagiamo di più, grazie ai tag, ai commenti, e così via, senza visualizzare le cose che meno ci interessano. Invece cliccando su “mostra tempo reale” avremo il tradizionale stream in real time, anche se con un nuovo design.

Altra novità riguarda i link che quotidianamente condividiamo su Facebook. La dimensione delle immagini è stata ulteriormente ridotta, così come le informazioni contenute. questa misura è stata introdotta per scoraggiare lo spam presente su Facebook, che spesso “intasa” il flusso degli aggiornamenti.

Le modifiche sono state create per venire incontro a chi non ha tempo per stare su Facebook tutto il giorno, ma non vuole perdersi gli appuntamenti più interessanti.
